Rhythmplaza.com: Where are you originally from?
MoDigga:
The Dirty District, DC always.

Rhythmplaza.com: Who was inspirational to you when you were coming up?
MoDigga: All the Great ones, Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, all the real shit.

Rhythmplaza.com: How long have you seriously been involved in the music industry? MoDigga: I've been writing and producing seriously in the business since I was 15.

Rhythmplaza.com: When did you first get into the music game?
MoDigga:
: I first got in the game by playing in Go-Go Bands, I got to know people, use their contacts, and connected with more people that were doing something different, it's all about networking.

Rhythmplaza.com: What artists have you produced music for?
MoDigga: I've produced for Dark Alley, Hood Life Money, Rickusmojo, BET's Joe Clair, Elektra's new recording artist: 4BID'N, Soon to be signed: Fortune, X-Posure Productions, Top Notch Teamsters (first group retired from the 8:00 KnockOut on WKYS), Smoke Section, man the list can go on and on.

Rhythmplaza.com: What is it like working with artist from the DC, MD, and VA area? MoDigga: It's good when you work with folks that are hungry and want to be a success in this music industry, that’s how you come out with a banging project.  The experience has been lovely.

Rhythmplaza.com: What is one of the most difficult things when producing new music for various artists?
MoDigga:  There is nothing-difficult working with the artist I have worked with.  Most of the time I barely have to say anything negative to the artist because the vibe is so strong, we feel the same thing, plus they listen to what I say.  We respect each other's idea that is what makes me a good producer, which make me great at what I do.

Rhythmplaza.com: What are your goals in the business as a music producer and engineer? MoDigga:  To Come out of the studio with quality classic music, and the best mix in the city, everything I do got to be banging dawg, and to be the best producer in the biz.

Rhythmplaza.com: What projects are you currently working on?
MoDigga: Right now I'm focused on Top Notch Teamsters; we just finished our second project.  It is in all the stores, the radio stations love it, the people are requesting the songs and that is what counts.  I am working on the third project as we speak, trying to get the same sound as the second album "a little different."  Also I'm doing the next "DARK ALLEY" album, so be looking for that highly expected album and it’s going to be off the hook.

Rhythmplaza.com: What do you like to do when you are not producing music or working with artists?
MoDigga: Traveling with my soon to be wife and my daughter, just to get away for a while and explore something new.

Rhythmplaza.com: What does music means to you?
MoDigga: Music is my life; I walk it, talk it, eat and sleep music.  That is how it's going to be until I die Dawg.

Rhythmplaza.com: What advice would you like give to some of the up and coming artists in the DC area?
MoDigga: Keep doing the dam thing to the fullest of your ability.  Don't trip off other people knocking your music, believe in your material. If you’re in a group and people don't see your vision, leave them and pursue your own thing.  A few years later you'll b in a better situation, and never put all your eggs in one basket.  Get out there and network, you never knows whom you meet until you ask and build relationships.

Rhythmplaza.com: Whom would you like to leave a shout out too?
MoDigga: EVERY GROUP, EVERY SOLO ARTIST, IN THE D.C. METROPOLITAN AREA THAT I DON'T KNOW, MY NIGGA LITTLE RODNEY WHEELER (CARROLL SUPERSTAR), MY DARKALLEY NIGGAZ, WHATUP BOBSMOKE, K.C.
