Rhythmplaza.com: Where are you originally from?  
Nile Nu'Man:  North West (7th street) DC, but I grew up in North East 12th street Michigan Park) so I just claim the whole north side.

Rhythmplaza.com:  When and why did you start using the name NILE NU'MAN?
Nile Nu'Man: In '94 I became a devout Sunni Muslim and chose that name since then I have graduated past religion to another level of spirituality but I kept my name.

Rhythmplaza.com:When did you first get into the music game and started making music?
Nile Nu'Man: The first song I recorded was in '87 it was a song about having discipline and not fighting and gettin in trouble it was a punishment for gettin into fights and being disrespectful to adults.

Rhythmplaza.com: Your tracks are hot, where do you get your concepts when creating and producing tracks?
Nile Nu'Man: I look within and then grab a pen and just write.....I don't really think about what I write.  I like to write form the heart and soul not the mind.

Rhythmplaza.com:  Tell us a little something about your crew at Game Related Entertainment...
Nile Nu'Man: The crew is gettin smaller.  Too many people not motivated to stay on this grind.  Swann is my partner. We like Tony and Monolo.  E-Banga is the future he raps and produces.

Rhythmplaza.com: What's up with the Mixtapes? Tell us the name of the  next Mixtape and when did you come up with the concept?
Nile Nu'Man: Hell & Glory.  Life is hell whatever we go through is hell and when we come out of it its glory.  that's how I see life...hell and glory.

Rhythmplaza.com: What producers’ do you have on the album, and have worked with in the past?
Nile Nu'Man: Big Hook, Hoo'KraZe, Judah, Big Chuck, Chad of The Neptunes, E-Banga, Big Burga, Mike Cross, Myself.

Rhythmplaza.com: Do you produce your own tracks?
Nile Nu'Man: I'm learning....I produced a track called still standing a year ago....I'm learning how to produce.

Rhythmplaza.com: What is it like working with Judah, one of the hottest producers in the area?
Nile Nu'Man: Me and Judah did the hell & glory mixtape by ourselves (with production from Big Hook (Eyes Like Miles).  we locked ourselves in the studio for 4 hours and had 11 new tracks to go with some bangers that had already hit the streets...we work fast together.

Rhythmplaza.com: Are you working on any new projects?
Nile Nu'Man: After hell & Glory I'm do another crew mixtape with who ever I am still cool with after I dissed a rack of folks on hell & Glory.

Rhythmplaza.com: When is your solo album coming out?
Nile Nu'Man: soon as the streets demand that I put it out...I am kill me with mix tapes every 3 months until demand grows....

Rhythmplaza.com: What are your goals in the business as a rapper/producer/ and/or entertainer?
Nile Nu'Man: To tell my story and sell my story. put DC on the map.  help people get through their days if I can.

Rhythmplaza.com: What is the most important aspect of the music industry you have learned?
Nile Nu'Man: U CANT TRUST NOBODY...YOUR FRIENDS WILL STEAL YOUR IDEAS....YOUR CREW WILL TURN THEY BACKS ON YOU....DO NOT CLICK UP WITH ANYBODY!!!!!!

Rhythmplaza.com: What advice would you give to some of the up and coming rap artists and producers?
Nile Nu'Man: do your thing and stay to yourself...DO NOT CLICK UP WITH NOBODY.  sell CDs...at the end of the day that's all that matters....SELL CD'S!!!!!!!

Rhythmplaza.com: Whom would you like to leave a shout out too?
